Order Rosales, Family Rosaceae, Genus Dasiphora
This sun loving plant was formerly named Pentaphyloides floribunda, and I personally prefer that name as it has a marvelous ring to it. Euphonic! Now it is a mere synonum. Find out more at Wikipedia and Southwest Colorado Wildflowers.
